Colosseum Italian Restaurant

A warm welcome to the Colosseum.We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our guests for dining with us and a special thank you to the regular customers who have dined over a period of time, as you are one of the reasons that the Colosseum is still going strong.

We are proud to announce that the Colosseum is approaching its eleventh year. Franco originates from the south of Italy, his home town is Campagna, Salerno. This idyllic place is sandwiched between mountains. Many of the products we use in the restaurant are directly from Campagna. Franco has been a professional Italian chef in Devon for 26 years.

Franco is accompanied in the kitchen by Marco. Marco moved to Devon in the year 2000 after completing his chef training in Roma. Since living in Devon he has worked as a professional chef.

Our aim is to provide you with an enjoyable and memorable dining experience.We are proud of our staff team, this includes our talented musicians. I think you will agree everyone will do their best to enhance your evening.

The Colosseum prides itself in using the finest ingredients, this includes free range organic eggs and chicken and freshly locally caught fish. Please feel free to ask where our products are sourced.

The Colosseum caters for private party bookings and special occasions, with an option of set menus and The Italian feast option, please ask for details.
